Since this month is pastor appreciation month in general and for the Catholic Church it is The Year of the Priest I would like to thank my pastors, Father William Kuchinsky & Father Prakash who serve the parishes of Our Lady of Grace in Romney, WV, Annunciation of Our Lord in Fort Ashby, WV, and St. Anthony's in Ridgeley, WV. Thse two servants of God shepherd the flock at these three parishes with love and patience. They both have a heart for God and should be recognized for their work. Salut Father Bill and Father Prakash!
Also you will see website links to the left on this blog, please visit them, they are chock full of information. For those of you wanting more info. on joining the Knights and a local council please visit the Knights home site listed on the side.
I said initially that this blog would be dedicated to the Knights of Columbus, I was wrong. This blog is dedicated to God, not to any earthly thing because all things come from God. He is the One who should receive the glory and honor. As this blog progresses it will not only be about the KofC but also about the Catholic faith and most importantly about God Himself. I hope you find what you are looking for as you read this blog; I hope you find information about the Knights and refreshment for your soul.

Welcome!

Welcome to my very first post on this, my inaugural blog. This blog is going to be dedicated to the Knights of Columbus, a fraternal Catholic men's group. There are many Knights of Columbus groups around the country and even in various other countries, such as: Poland, The Phillipines, and Canada. The groups, called councils and assemblies, involve a parish or maybe several parishes that are formed by men of that parish or parishes who come together for the welfare of the parish(s) and the local community. These men take on many projects, offering their time and talents in the church and local community.
I look forward to your comments and I hope we can all have a good time in talking about the KofC. Again welcome and I hope you come often. Vivat Jesus.
